As Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Nursing, Department of Nursing Principles, we are happy and excited to invite you to the 4th International 8th National Basic Nursing Care Congress between 1-3 October 2026.
As stated in the theme of ICN; Nurses are the key to healthier, responsive societies, thriving economies and strong nations. Nurses are the life force necessary for health. The power of nursing is care. In this context, the main theme of the congress is “Care for Sustainable Health” as "the most important issue of our organisation".
In this context, in the congress programme; climate crisis and nursing, sustainability in nursing care, ethics in sustainable care, sustainable nursing practices, sustainable innovative approaches in nursing care, artificial intelligence in nursing care, sustainable approaches in nursing education, sustainable care cost green health / nursing / hospital will be presented by national and international speakers who are experts in their fields.
We think that the scientific programme of the congress will make us stronger with the contributions of academicians, nurses, graduate and undergraduate students from different countries of our country and the world, especially with the valuable sharing of our esteemed professors who have worked in the nursing profession.
With our belief that our congress will grow and enrich with the contributions and sharing of our valuable participants, we would like to state that we will be honoured to see you among us. 4th International 8th National Basic Nursing Care Congress was deemed worthy of support by TÜBİTAK BİDEP.
The 4th International and 8th National Congress on Basic Nursing Care, It meets the criteria set out in Articles 10, 11, 12 and 13 of the application requirements for the TÜBİTAK 2224-B Programme for Supporting Participation in Domestic Scientific Events.
In this context;
- Peer-reviewed event (Article 10):
Our conference employs a double-blind peer review process. All submitted papers are evaluated by expert referees in their respective fields in accordance with scientific criteria. - Held for at least the third time (Article 11):
4th International and 8th National Congress on Basic Nursing Care, is an international conference held on a regular basis. - Regulatory Board Comprising Various Institutions (Article 12):
The conference organising and scientific committee consists of academics from at least three different universities and/or public research institutions and is structured in accordance with the principles of interdisciplinary and institutional diversity. - Up-to-date and Active Website (Article 13):
Our Conference: All the latest information regarding the conference, including the scientific programme, committees, application procedures and announcements, is available on the official website.
In this regard, we hereby declare that the 4th International and 8th National Congress on Basic Nursing Care meets the relevant criteria specified under the TÜBİTAK 2224-B Programme.
Our congress meets the new associate professorship criteria.
